2. Eligibility and Accounts
You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract under the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.

- Notify AthleteOS promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Athlete, Coach, and Team Roles
AthleteOS supports athlete accounts and coach accounts. If you join or are added to a team, some of your data, logs, status information, coach notes, or intervention settings may be visible to authorized team or coach accounts based on the product configuration and team features.
4. Service Features
The Service may include dashboards, trend views, logs, calendars, weekly reviews, coach tools, exports, and AI-powered assistant features.
5. Connected Services and Third-Party Data
AthleteOS may connect to third-party services such as WHOOP and STRAVA. By connecting a third-party service, you authorize AthleteOS to access, process, store, display, transform, and summarize the data needed to operate the Service.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. AthleteOS is not responsible for outages, sync failures, revoked access, policy changes, or inaccurate data supplied by those services.
6. AI Assistant and Coach Copilot
AthleteOS includes AI-powered features such as Ask AthleteOS and Coach Copilot. AI output may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect and is based only on the data and context available to the Service at the time.
- AI output is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- AI output is decision support, not the sole basis for training or coaching decisions.
- Structured context may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate responses.
7. Medical and Safety Disclaimer
AthleteOS is a performance, readiness, recovery, and coaching tool. It is not a medical service and should not be used for emergencies or urgent symptoms.
8. Your Content and Data
You retain rights in the content and data you submit, subject to the limited rights needed for AthleteOS to provide, secure, improve, and operate the Service.
9. Exports and Downloads
The Service may allow you to export reports, weekly reviews, summaries, logs, or other materials. You are responsible for how you use, store, secure, and share exported material.
10. Acceptable Use
- Do not violate laws or regulations through the Service.
- Do not access another user's account or team without authorization.
- Do not interfere with security, reverse engineer improperly, or abuse the platform.
- Do not use the Service in a way that violates connected-service terms.

If paid plans, subscriptions, trials, add-ons, or team billing are offered, the pricing, billing cadence, renewal terms, and cancellation flow will be presented before purchase or activation.

AthleteOS, the Service design, software, content, logos, and interface layouts are owned by AthleteOS or its licensors and are protected by law.

AthleteOS may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, an account appears compromised, a required integration fails or is revoked, or the Service is discontinued.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AthleteOS and its related parties are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AthleteOS and its related parties from claims or losses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content or data you submit or connect.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the AthleteOS operating entity is established, except to the extent mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction apply.
