1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, signing in, connecting a data source, or otherwise using AthleteOS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use AthleteOS.

AthleteOS may update these Terms as the service changes. If changes are material, AthleteOS will take reasonable steps to notify users through the service or website where required.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You may use AthleteOS only if you can legally enter into these Terms. AthleteOS is intended for adults 18 and older unless a separate arrangement supports supervised team or organization use.

  • Use accurate account information and keep it current.
  • Keep your login credentials and session access secure.
  • Do not impersonate another person or access an account you do not own.
  • Tell AthleteOS promptly if you believe your account was compromised.

3. Service Features

AthleteOS provides training logs, dashboards, readiness and recovery views, analytics, calendar tools, weekly reviews, coach/team workflows, connected-source sync, exports, and AI-assisted guidance. Features can change, improve, be paused, or be removed.

AthleteOS is an early product. Some features may be labeled alpha, beta, coming soon, in progress, planned, disabled, import-only, or otherwise limited while they are being built and tested.

Some features depend on third-party services, active API credentials, user authorization, network availability, and the quality of data returned by connected providers.

4. Connected Services

AthleteOS can connect to third-party services such as WHOOP, Strava, Wahoo, and Oura when those integrations are available and authorized. Google Calendar, Garmin, Apple Health, and other providers may appear as coming soon, in progress, planned, disabled, import-only, or otherwise limited until stable support is available. By connecting a provider, you authorize AthleteOS to access, process, store, display, transform, and summarize the data needed to operate the requested features.

Connected providers have their own terms, privacy policies, API rules, rate limits, availability limits, and data deletion or revocation behavior. AthleteOS is not responsible for provider outages, revoked tokens, policy changes, API restrictions, inaccurate provider data, or provider-side account decisions.

Disconnecting a provider in AthleteOS stops future sync attempts for that provider. Some data already imported into AthleteOS may remain in your account until you delete it, delete your account, or request deletion where available.

5. Ask AthleteOS and AI Features

Ask AthleteOS and coach copilot features may use structured account, training, recovery, sleep, wellness, calendar, and team context to generate responses. AI output can be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or based on limited data.

AthleteOS uses a configured AI provider for production assistant responses and may change AI providers as the product evolves.

  • Do not use AI output as medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency advice, or a substitute for a qualified professional.
  • Review AI-generated training guidance before acting on it.
  • For coach accounts, verify AI summaries before using them with athletes or teams.

6. Training, Health, and Safety

AthleteOS is a performance and training decision tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, emergency service, or clinical monitoring system. If you have symptoms, injury, illness, or medical concerns, seek professional medical advice.

You are responsible for deciding whether a workout, training plan, or recovery recommendation is appropriate for your body, context, environment, and sport.

7. Your Content and Data

You keep ownership of the data, logs, notes, files, and content you submit or connect. You grant AthleteOS a limited permission to host, process, analyze, transmit, back up, secure, and display that data so AthleteOS can provide the service.

Exports and downloads may contain sensitive performance, health, or team information. You are responsible for how you store, share, and protect exported material.

8. Acceptable Use

  • Do not break the law or violate third-party rights through AthleteOS.
  • Do not attack, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls.
  • Do not upload malware, harmful content, or content you do not have permission to use.
  • Do not use connected-source data in a way that violates that provider's rules.
  • Do not use AthleteOS to make high-risk medical, emergency, or safety decisions.

9. Coaches, Teams, and Shared Access

If you join a team, create a team, or use coach features, certain athlete data, training logs, summaries, notes, interventions, and readiness information may be visible to authorized coach or team accounts. Team owners and coaches are responsible for using that information lawfully, fairly, and with appropriate athlete consent.

10. Billing

AthleteOS may offer free, trial, paid, or team plans. If paid features are introduced, prices, renewal terms, cancellation steps, and billing provider details will be shown before purchase.

11. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

You can stop using AthleteOS at any time. Where available, account deletion permanently removes your account and associated AthleteOS data from the active database, including sessions, settings, integrations, team membership, and saved app data. Some backups, logs, or legal records may remain for a limited period where required for security, compliance, or dispute handling.

AthleteOS may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, the service is abused, an account appears compromised, legal risk exists, or the service is discontinued.

12. Disclaimers and Liability

AthleteOS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. AthleteOS does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, perfect data accuracy, provider availability, or that any training recommendation will produce a specific result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AthleteOS and its related parties are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, athletic performance, or training outcomes.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the AthleteOS operating entity or owner is established, except where mandatory consumer protections in your location require otherwise.

14. Privacy

AthleteOS handles personal information as described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and how to request deletion or access.

15. Contact
